The Ultimate List of Online Resources: Amazing Educational Resources

This simple website has gone viral as THE resource for kids at home. It’s quite extensive, so we’ve gone through and pulled out the STEM -related resources for your convenience. Check it out. It’s magnificent.


Verizon App Development Tools and Games for Kids

We love sites that do the research for us and aggregate the cooleset available resources. Verizon wants kids to learn coding. To that effect, they've collected a slew of Coding Courses & Platforms for Beginners and Intermediates


BrainPOP and STEM

Brainpop’s STEM site is an extensive collection of science, technology, engineering, and math topics, including animated movies, quizzes, activities, learning games, and lesson ideas and resources for families and educators. Brainpop is offering their coronavirus module for free. The rest of their site is available with a 30-day trial.


Smore Magazine

Smore Magazine is a print and digital STEM magazine for ages 9+. Smore is available to children through schools and libraries all over the world. The name says it all. This is indeed a great collection of resources (though, some were a little out of date). Highlights we like are the Museum of Science + Industry Chicago Online Science and NASA Space Place.


STEM Games for Kids

Done with the crafts and learning and ready for simple game fun? Maryville University did the work for us and compiled a great shortlist of STEM games.


And now from Pittsburgh! Carnegie STEM Girls

We love our Pittsburgh-own Carnegie Stem Girls! Designed in collaboration with Duquense Light, the website is chockfull of activities, resources, and links designed to get teenagers excited about STEM.
