COSTARS

COSTARS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units (LPPUs) and state-affiliated entities (together “members”) are able to leverage contracts established by Department of General Services to cost effectively and efficiently identify suppliers/vendors with whom to do business.

PEPPM

PEPPM is a national technology bidding and purchasing cooperative designed to streamline the purchasing process for school districts, colleges, cities, counties, state governments, libraries and other public agencies and nonprofits.

 

The program reduces the time, effort and cost by ensuring the most favorable pricing and complete bid protection.

E-Rate

The Schools and Libraries Program, commonly known as E-rate, provides discounts for telecommunications, internet access and internal connections to eligible schools and libraries. Discounts range from 20% to 90%, with higher discounts for higher poverty and rural schools and libraries. Recipients must pay some portion of the service costs. 

 

E-rate is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
