AV Installation Technician

The AV Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of AV and Multimedia systems. You will be a part of the Professional Services team that is responsible for providing technical and hand on support for conference rooms, command and control centers, video conferencing, digital signage, soundmasking, video walls, audio systems and projectors.

Position Responsibilities

  • Performs installation, configuration, programming and final commissioning of the customer’s AV systems.
  • Provides documentation of systems, configurations and other pertinent information for the customer.
  • Delivers on-going remote and on-site technical support for existing customers and systems.
  • Troubleshoots and services existing systems and components.
  • Provides end user training on installed systems.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Audio Visual or Multimedia services industry strongly preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Multimedia, AV, Electronics, or related field is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with software aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.

Voice Data Sales Engineer

The Voice Data Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the business development team with a strategic focus on Voice Data services and solutions. This position is responsible for evaluating, analyzing and recommending technology resources throughout the sales process, and acts as an advocate for the company’s products.

Position Responsibilities

  • Review RFP information to qualify opportunities that best fit the portfolio of Company’s offerings.
  • Create new estimates by utilizing Company’s estimating program.
  • Update CRM system with final bid amount, margins, and other pertinent data.
  • Oversee Scope Review meetings with Customer, providing knowledge and feedback of project specifications.
  • Review estimate/SOW to verify all documents match accordingly; makes modifications to original Estimate so that it matches Customer Purchase Order amount.
  • Present prepared estimates to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Develop and create submittal packages for Sales team; Manage submittal sheets on internal Server.
  • Attend project Kick-Off meeting with Project Manager.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of ‪Voice‬ Solutions (Unified Communications, VoIP Solutions, Digital Phones, Audio, Video and Web Conferencing)‬‬‬‬‬
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer for Voice/Data services.
    Estimator experience strongly preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Telecommunications, Technology, or related field preferred. Bachelors Degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.

The Estimator position is responsible for cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements in an accurately and timely fashion.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Present prepared estimates to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Update Sugar CRM system with final bid amount, margins, and other pertinent data.
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Review estimate/SOW to verify all documents match accordingly, and make necessary adjustments as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or IT related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an estimator, preferably in the electronic services industry (Voice, Data, Security, Multimedia, and/or Structured Cabling).
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
